Stay (Holiday)

NPR Overnight and Holiday Stays are perfect for any owners who have upcoming travel arrangements or unable to be at home during the week with their fur baby? We have spent a long time perfecting the comfort levels for all types of dogs to ensure we cater a 5 Star Quality Resort that dogs and owners are happy about.

We are not the “every day boarding facility”. So come along for a visit. No need to make an appointment. We are available between 11am – 2pm 7 days a week.

During boarding your fur baby will receive health checks every 3 days, weekly warm hydro baths (short coated dogs only) and lots of love and attention. Whether your dog is here to stay for one night or more, we are here to cater for them.

Our staff are trained and qualified to give the greatest care, love and attention.

We will help you make that very important decision on why Newcastle Pet Resort should be your first choice to care for your four legged family members.

We Maximise Comfort For Your Pet

Our kennels are versatile to keep the heat in during winter and cool enough during the summer so the atmosphere is right for all dogs.

All dogs are individuals. Like any human, you may have grown up with certain things that make you feel comfortable. Any requirements needed for your dog can be catered for.

Our qualified staff conduct health checks every 3 days to ensure your best friends’ coat, skin, eyes, ears & teeth etc are in good condition during their stay.

What Happens After Doggy Daycare?

For Holiday Stays we have placed a lot of importance on looking after your fur baby. We offer relaxing spa baths every 5 – 7 days for long-term boarders (coat type restrictions apply). If your pooch is staying with us for 5 nights or more, they will receive a complimentary bath on departure (coat type restrictions apply).

If you’d prefer to come visit us first to have a chat and see the resort please visit our contact page for details. We look forward to meeting you!

  • “Very professional and passionate group of people. Being a picky dog owner myself, they were very helpful in answering all my 21 questions and providing the best options for Connor. Would highly recommend the services of Newcastle Pet Resort to any dog owner that wants a piece of mind that their loved ones are being looked after by the best in the business.”

  • “Great place to leave a member of your family when you cant take them with you. I have used Newcastle Pet Resort for the past 6 years for three of my fur babies with great peace of mind that they are well cared for.”

  • “I give Newcastle Pet Resort 10/10! It teaches your dogs to play and interact with other dogs! So when you are at Redhead Beach or other places your dog can go, you know they’ll go & play with other dogs, have a rumble & never fight! Your pooch comes home after a day at doggy school absolutely exhausted, like a toddler at Pre-School, they’ll eat & then fall asleep, and the school bus is great!

Kenneling 15/10! I have used other kennels over the years, the dogs are locked up with a fenced in the narrow runner. At NPR they are out playing in a big yard with the other dogs every day. You can view photos every day via FB wherever you are in the world & see them having a ball.

You know your dog has had a great holiday at NPR when they get dropped off at home & they come & give you lick & a cuddle & then they try to get back on the bus!”

  • “This is a great place for dogs. Keeva always trots in willingly and I know she is well cared for. She has been taken to the vet on a couple of occasions when that seemed necessary. It is great to have photo evidence of what she is doing too.”
